Before we begin, you are reminded that throughout all of these short articles pertaining to Bible Truths, the name "Yahweh" will be used in its proper place where the words God, Lord, and Lord God are use, because it represents and is the name of our One and True - Almighty Creator; And, the name "Yahshua" will be used where the names Jesus, Christ, and Lord are used referring to Him. By using the Proper Names leaves no one in a state of confusion as to who the scriptures are talking about.

     Due to the fact that many people who believe in a Trinity, as many have been taught, it is extremely important for you to know and understand who Yahshua "Really Is" and that you are not deceived into believing in old pagan customs of worshiping more than one god, which were and still are - an abomination to Yahweh.

     We will cover how the trinity began in another article, but for now let us keep our focus on what Scripture has to say and to what Yahshua Himself had to say about who He was.

     Never once did Yahshua make any claim that He was God throughout the whole N.T.. Many have said, from scriptures being taken out of context, that Yahshua was making claim to this fact or implying this was so. Yahshua never made any claim of the sort. Man has implemented his own ideas and thoughts and many are being deceived through these teachings.

     Most likely, the starting point of this controversy begins in 1 Timothy 3:16 where it say "God was manifest in the flesh" KJV. Remember, the word GOD is merely a TITLE and not a PERSON'S NAME and could be applied to anyone, just as Satan is referred to as god of this world for now. By taking that one small portion out of that verse, it would certainly imply that Yahshua was God based on a trinity concept derived from paganism.

     But, let us take a look at what that whole verse says "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory." (KJV)

     By reading this whole verse as it is written, we now need to ask ourselves some questions; Why does God, who is Yahweh, need to be "justified in the Spirit?" For Yahweh is already pure, holy, and justified. Why does He need to be "received up into glory?" For Yahweh already sits in all His glory.

     Therefore, there must be more to this verse than what first meets the human eye and understanding. We know from reading the Bible who was seen by the angels, preached to the Gentiles, believed on in the world, it was Yahshua. And, by not sinning, He was justified in the spirit and received up into the Father's glory.

     John gives us a very clear understanding as to who was really manifested in the flesh. 1 John 3:8 says "He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of Yahweh was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil." Here we can see quite clearly who was manifested in the flesh, the Son of Yahweh, and for what purpose.

     A Hebrew version of 1 Timothy 3:16 reads like this "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: He [Yahshua] Who was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, and received up into glory."

     This version lines up with 1 John 3:8 much more clearly. Because of people tampering with and changing words in the scriptures has caused great confusion. All scripture must line up with other scripture pertaining to the same subject. Otherwise, we must question it and search out the real truth.

     One catalog offers over 750 versions of the Bible. If one makes claim that the version they have is the Infallible Word of Yahweh, and some one else has another version making the same claim; Shouldn't they all read alike? The true Writers of the Bible only wrote one version, not many, to cause confusion. For Yahweh is not a Person of confusion, but of Truth only.

     We are told in scripture, that you and I are made in the image and likeness of Yahweh, Genesis 1:27. Does this imply that each one of us is a GOD?" I don't think so! Not in the since we're talking about here, as the Creator of all things. In other places of scripture we are referred to merely as the called-out ones, the elect, saints, children, and we are as a group called the congregation or assembly - know as the church today.

     Yahshua was also made in the image and likeness of the Father, Yahweh. To disregard this fact, one would have to deny that Yahweh had a Son - as John 3:16 tells us. Not only would we have to disregard this verse of scripture, but we would have to also deny the prophecy that a Messiah would come into the world from the line or seed of David, as John 7:42 spoke of "Hath not the scripture said, That Yahshua cometh of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was?"

     David was a man who was born of the flesh, and if Yahshua was to come from the seed of David - would also mean that Yahshua was born of the flesh. We all know how this took place, through the Virgin Mary. The only difference was in the form of conception. Because of this form of conception Yahshua could rightfully be called the Son of Yahweh and the Son of man.

     To be called a son, one must first be begotten of a father. A son cannot be called a father unless the son - has a son of his own. Then he has the right to be called a father. Therefore, with any intelligent reasoning in the word of truth, can anyone still make claim that Yahshua is His Father Yahweh? He is merely the image and likeness of the Father.

     Take a good hard look at what Yahshua had to say in John 14:28 "Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I." Does this sound like Yahshua is making any claim that He is equal or greater than the Father? No! Just the opposite!!! "My Father is GREATER than I."

     Paul who is attributed to the Authorship of Hebrews says; "But we see Yahshua, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of Yahweh should taste death for every man." (Hebrews 2:9)

     We all know that Yahweh is everlasting, had no beginning and has no ending; Therefore, Yahweh can not "Die" or "Suffer Death." Yet, Paul tells us that Yahshua was to suffer death in this verse, and we know that He did. Does this sound like a person, which most people worship today, as the Almighty Creator of everything and who cannot die?

     Paul goes on to say that Yahshua was "crowned with glory and honour." If someone already has all the glory and honour; Why does he need to receive it? These are only some of the things people should be asking their ministers who claim Yahshua is the everlasting Almighty.

     Yahshua was crowned with glory and honour for being obedient to the Father's Will, just like you and I should be doing. Through the blood of Yahshua, He took upon Himself the atonement for all of man's sins. This was the way Yahweh had planned it before the beginning of the world.

     We need to look at another verse of scripture ministers will use to prove their paganish trinity concept of three gods in one. We find this in John 10:30 where Yahshua say "I and my Father are one."(KJV) Again, another verse completely and totally taken out of context as to what has been said in the verses before. Verses 27-29 reads as follows "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand."

     Here, Yahshua is referring to His "SHEEP" and to His Father who had given the sheep to Him. Yahshua goes on to say that no man will be able to take them out of His hand; Nor, will they be able to take them out of the Father's hand who is greater than all. Therefore, in verse 30, He is speaking a Spiritual Truth, that He and His Father are in total agreement on this matter.

     By using the word "One" in verse 30 can be very misleading if people tend to use this as showing two people are the same person. The Aramaic Bible gives a clearer rendering of that verse by saying "My Father and I are in one accord." The word "accord" means: in agreement, oneness in thought, in unison, conformity, and united together. This certainly gives us a clearer understanding of what is being said and lines up perfectly with the context of the verses before.

     Yahshua spoke both Aramaic and Hebrew, and Bible Scholars agree that the N.T. had been written in both languages according to their findings of scrolls written in both those languages.

     Now, if the minister feels that you are still not convinced of three gods in one, he'll use 1 John 5:7&8 on you. It says "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one." (KJV)

     There are two important facts that we need to deal with here in these two verses. The first consists of words being added. All the words from "in heaven" to "in earth" were added and were never found in any Greek Manuscripts before the sixteenth century. They were first seen in the margin of some Latin copies and thence have crept into the text. You will find this information in the footnotes of some Bibles.

     Therefore, those two verses should read as follows "For there are three that testify; the Spirit, the water, and the blood, and the three are in agreement." You will find this written in the NIV., NAB., and some other versions of the Bible.

     The second fact we need to deal with is this: Anyone who tries to prove a trinity concept will say that the "Word" is referring to Yahshua as a person. This is an out and out right lie! The "Word" merely means: an embodiment of a conception or idea which is spoken, including the sayings of Yahweh. You can prove this out for yourself by scripture where Yahshua referred to speaking only what the Father spoke. Yahshua was merely a representative, the Son of Yahweh, who spoke what the Father told Him to speak. No more and no less.

     We'll take a look at some more sayings out of the mouth of Yahshua showing that He makes not claim to being the Eternal Almighty.

     John 13:16 "Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his Ruler; neither he (Yahshua) that is sent greater than he (Yahweh) that sent him." Yahshua clearly is saying who was greater of the two.

     Yahshua said, when speaking to Mary at the tome, "Touch me not; for am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my Ruler, and your Ruler." (John 20:17)

     John 20:21 "Then said Yahshua to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you." Just as Yahshua had been sent to teach the truth, He was sending them out to also teach the truth, because He would soon be leaving them.

     John 8:28-29, "Then said Yahshua unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he (the Messiah), and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things. And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him." Isn't it interesting to see that Yahshua had to be taught, and then He spoke the things that He had been taught? I never read anywhere that Yahweh had to be taught, for in Him is all Truth and Wisdom.

     John 12:50, "And I know that his (Yahweh) commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak."

     Matthew 19:17, "And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, Yahweh: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments." Here, we can see that the Commandments or Laws set forth in the O.T. have not been done away with as many make claim to, otherwise Yahshua would have no need to tell us to keep them.

     Matthew 28:18, "And Yahshua came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth." When Yahshua was baptized by John the Baptist, this was when He received the fullness of power.

     Revelation 3:21, "To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne." Note, two thrones are mention here; One where the Father is and Yahshua is sitting at His right hand, the present throne; The second throne, referring to a future time, when Yahshua will sit upon His earthly throne as King of all Kings and Ruler of all Rulers. And, we are told, if we overcome as He overcame - we will sit with Him on His throne.

     When Yahshua was speaking about His return, said in Mark 13:32 "But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father." The Bible tells us that Yahweh is all knowing, and this being true, wouldn't you think that if Yahshua was who people claim Him to be (God), would know the day and hour of His return? He clearly states in this verse, that no one knows but the Father. See Matthew 24:36 also.

     We can quote many other scriptures where Yahshua made no claim to being the God most people say He is. But, we need to look at one more very important claim that Yahshua did make. We find this in John 4:23-24 "But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. Yahweh is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth."

     Yahshua makes it very clear to Who one is to give worship to. It is not to Him, but to the Father who's name is Yahweh.

     1 Corinthians 11:3 "But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Yahshua; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Yahshua is Yahweh."

     Philippians 2:11 "And that every tongue should confess that Yahshua Messiah is King, to the glory of Yahweh the Father."

     Hebrews 4:14 "Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Yahshua the Son of Yahweh, let us hold fast our profession."

     1 Peter 3:22 "Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of Yahweh; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him."

     1 Timothy 2:5 "For there is one Yahweh, and one mediator between Yahweh and men, the man Yahshua Messiah."

     If one studies the history of the Bible, one will find that people have tampered with the Bible, by changing words, from it's early beginning. And, starting with the Israelites themselves, known as Jews today. The High Priests who were in charge of coping the Original Bible were the first to change the name of Yahweh to - God, Lord, Lord God. This has caused a lot of confusion for the average person when it comes to who the Bible is speaking about. This is also true with many other words that have been mistranslated or misinterpreted in the many Bible versions that we have today.

     With all the Scriptures presented in this article and putting the Proper Names back where they belong should give you much food for thought as to who Yahshua "Really Is."
